Exciting New Partnership!

The ACES team is pleased to announce an important new partnership with seaturtle.org. Seaturtle.org is a nonprofit organization that supports sea turtle research and conservation efforts around the world. Seaturtle.org brings together information from many scientists to make it available and useful to everyone.

In addition to sea turtle biologists, Seaturtle.org partners with scientists who track and study fish, mammals, and birds. ACES students across the United States will benefit because this partnership will mean additional animals to study!

Another exciting aspect of the partnership is that ACES students will now be able to participate in Seaturtle.org's 'Adopt a Turtle' program. ACES students can work together to fundraise, and for just $25-$100, adopt a sea turtle that is tracked by satellite and follow its movements on the ACES website! Adopting classes can receive plenty of information about their animal, including information sheets, adoption certificates, and photographs. Seaturtle.org uses the money raised from the adoption program to support turtle research and conservation.

"This is a wonderful opportunity for ACES students," says ACES Program Manager Meghan Marrero. "Students are always asking about ways to help - with just a small fundraising activity like a bake sale, they can make a difference!"
