Penguin Science is a dedicated team of researchers studying how Adelie Penguins respond to recent, dramatic changes in their climate and ocean. Adelie Penguins live, in the Southern Hemisphere, where sea ice is a persistent feature of their habitat. These special seabirds are extremely sensitive to changes in the availability of their prey, changes mediated by climate and fisheries-mediated alterations of the Antarctic food web.
